Time Police: Not their intended vocation, but members of the SIU find themselves contending with schemes to alter the time stream by the Roidmudes and Shocker during some of the movies and TV specials they star in. Idiot Ball: For some reason, none of them can figure out Shinnosuke is Drive even though he carries around Shift Cars, wears the Shift Brace in public, and drives the exact same car as Drive!. Decoy Protagonist: The Secret Mission Type TOKUJO mini-series is billed as an origin episode as to how each member of the SIU became a part of it, but the reasons for such are all hand waved at the end and the special is more about solving a cold case from the day of the Global Freeze and foreshadowing how deeply the Roidmudes had infiltrated the Japanese government. Creature-Hunter Organization: Seeing as all Slowdowns are related to the Roidmudes, they can be seen as such. Yet, once they get really serious, and with the help of a certain Kamen Rider, they can solve any case. Bunny-Ears Lawyer: They are rather strange, and are the last people you'd think would be able to combat the Roidmudes. Badass Crew: Don't let their bickering and personal issues fool you - when they get their gear on, no case shall remain unsolved for long.
